Anushka is an actor and producer in Bollywood. She is amongst the highest-paid actresses and has won numerous awards for her acting. Nush, her women's clothing brand that she runs and manages with a variety of brands, has been a brand spokesperson for many of them. Forbes Magazine also featured her. Anushka Sharma was born May 1 1988 at Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh to Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Her father is an officer in the colonel (retd.) Her mother is also a housewife. The elder brother of Anushka Karnesh Sharma served in Merchant Navy and now is an actor. Anushka Sharma graduated at the Army School, Bangalore and has pursued Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Anushka is a master of studies in economics. Anushka had always wanted to become an actress or journalist, and never an actor. Anushka moved to Mumbai after completed her graduation and began her studies at Elite Model Management, and was groomed by the stylist Prasad Bidapa. Anushka debuted as a model in the year 2017 to model for Wendell Rodricks Les Vamps Show during Lakme Fashion Week. He selected her to be his finale model of the Spring/Summer 2007 Collection. Her modeling career started at Lakme Fashion Week in 2017. Since then, she has been involved in numerous campaigns, which include campaigns in support of Fiat Palio & Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka Sharma, along with her modeling career, enrolled in an acting academy and began to audition for films. Anushka was the first to be seen in a role of acting in a film by Shah Rukh Khan opposite Anushka. The actress took a day off to practice for her screen test and refused to perform an impractical version. Then she was offered three movies by Yash Raj Films. She was the young wife of a man who was older in the film (the same role that Shah Rukh Khan played). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka Sharma starred in the film 'Badmash Company The film was released in 2010. It included Shahid Kapoor as well as the actor Vir Das. The film received mixed reviews. Anushka appeared as an Punjabi girl who was from middle class in the movie known as 'Band baaja baaraat. The film featured her alongside Ranveer. It received favorable reviews and proved to be an overnight success. Anushka completed her three-film deal in partnership with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
